In 1996, the Austrian subsidiaries were founded in cooperation with important regional hosts. The Hungarian ticket business was transferred into the Ticket Express Hungary Kft. in 1999.
In 1999, the CTS GmbH, since 2000 CTS Eventim AG, acquired 75% of the shares.
In 2003, subsidiaries were founded in Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia.
The CTS Eventim AG is listed on the stock exchange of Frankfurt and is Europe’s leading ticketing and live entertainment business.
In 2005, further subsidiaries were founded in Bulgaria and Serbia.
In 2007, the Romanian distribution network started operations; there are also sales agencies and/or local offices in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Macedonia.
With 43.4% unaided and 71% aided awareness among Austrians between 14 and 59, the trademark oeticket.com is by far the strongest Austrian ticket marketing trademark today.
