30 Seconds to Mars inspire for two reasons: Jared Leto, the band’s head singer, is a Hollywood star (“Requiem for a Dream”, “Panic Room”, “Fight Club”, “American Psycho”, “Alexander” etc.), and the band’s appearances tend to be dynamic and bursting with energy.
After their triumphal procession through the United States (they sold over a million copies of “A Beautiful Lie”, won an MTV Music Award with “The Kill” and played to capacity crowds all over America for almost a year), 30 Seconds to Mars found the time to record new songs. The single “Kings and Queens” was released on October 13, 2009, and just like “A Beautiful Lie”, the album “This is War” is a potential hit.
