On June 29, 2012, Guns'n'Roses and their supporting act - The Cult - will be rocking the Schwarzlsee near Graz!
The US-American hard core band Guns'n'Roses was founded in Los Angeles in 1985 and sold over 100 million records. In June, Leutgeb Entertainment Group will be presenting Guns'n'Roses and The Cult at the See Rock Festival 2012.
It's not necessary to talk a lot about the genius rock formation. Their story is well-known, and their songs are international hits. As Axl Rose has it, Guns'n'Roses are well aware they are confused and crazy - however, their behavior symbolizes everything rock'n'roll is about. For Guns'n'Roses, this means drugs, punk energy and melodious ballads.
Their debut album "Appetite For Destruction" climbed to the top of the US charts in 1987 and quickly turned into a mega seller (over 20 million records sold worldwide).
On the climax of their musical success, the band leaned towards delusions of grandeur: on midnight of January 17, 1991, the albums "Use Your Illusion I" and "Use Your Illusion II" were simultaneously shipped.
Then, however, things were going downhill for Guns'n'Roses. The band members wanted to develop their individual potential in unsuccessful solo projects.
15 years after the split, what no one had dared to hope for anymore came true: Axl Rose and the reunited Guns'n'Roses released "Chinese Democracy," an album that had been announced and postponed several times. We all know the world hits: Knocking on Heaven's Door, November Rain, Paradise City, Welcome to the Jungle, to mention but a few.
Finally, Guns'n'Roses are coming back to Austria. The lake is about to rock!
Their official supporting act, the legendary The Cult, will get the audience rocking at Schwarzlsee before Guns'n'Roses take over the stage.
