On September 23rd, 2008, music history will be made: Madonna is coming to Austria for the first time! We invite you to anticipate the concert of the decade.
She is the uncrowned queen of pop. For more than 20 years, she has been storming the charts with her singles like no other. And finally, Madonna is giving a concert in Austria. Thousands of people will sing along with hits like "Like A Virgin", "Music" and "Hung Up" when superstar Madonna hits the stage with her great show at Vienna’s Donauinsel on September 23rd.
The kick-off of the "Sticky & Sweet" tour was on August 23rd in the Welsh capital Cardiff. The artist, who had just turned 50, electrified an audience of 40 000 fans with a spectacular interpretation of her new CD “Hard Candy” as well as many older hits in a show that, among other things, reminded of the 1920s and the dance and disco era of the 80s.
“Sticky & Sweet” sets new standards of production, technology, visuals, costumes, choreography and music. Furthermore, Madonna’s stage – the biggest stage Vienna has ever seen – has been especially designed for her show.
