Biography - Zoot Woman

Synth-Pop und Euro-Dance, Gitarrenflackern und Rave-Sonnenaufgang, Pixeln und Fußtritten, Schmerzparty und Freudenschrei: Treffender lässt sich die 1995 gegründete britische Synth-Pop- Combo Zoot Woman wohl nicht beschreiben. Bandvater ist Stuart Price, vielen noch bekannt unter seinem Pseudonym Jaques Lu Cont, seines Zeichens Mastermind von "Les Rythmes Digitales". Ebendieser holt sich Adam Blake an den Keyboards sowie den kleinen Bruder Johnny Blake als Sänger ins Boot. Das Debütalbum erscheint 2001 unter dem Namen "Living In A Magazine“. Dann dauert es zwei Jahre, bis ihr zweites, selbstbetiteltes Album "Zoot Woman" erscheint - melancholischer als ihr Vorgänger, aber durchaus abwechslungsreich. 2009 legte die formidable Elektroformation das Album "Things Are What They Used To Be" nach, 2014 erscheint nach 5 Jahren ihr neuestes Album "Star Climbing."
