John Howard Carpenter (* 16. Januar 1948 in Carthage, New York) ist ein US-amerikanischer Regisseur, Drehbuchautor, Produzent, Schauspieler und Filmmusikkomponist. Bei vielen gilt er als Erfinder des neuzeitlichen Horrorfilms, doch drehte er auch Filme aus anderen Themenbereichen, wie Science Fiction, Action oder eine Elvis-Biographie.

Tolles Erlebnis, John Carpenter live zu sehen und hören. Der Meister legte sich voll ins Zeug, zeigte Spielfreude und war zudem nicht mundfaul. Die Zeit ist viel zu schnell vergangen. Standing Ovations!

John Carpenter and The Band gave us an almost perfect show. It was nice to see them live, but the concert itself could have been longer, but it was great with this way too.
