Tom Grennan ist ein britischer Singer/Songwriter. Es brauchte gerade eine EP, damit die britischen Radio-Stationen ihm verfallen waren. Für BBC, MTV oder The Indpendent zählte er zu den "heißesten" Newcomern dieses Jahres. Tom Grennans Einflüsse und Referenzen sind klar definiert, wie er selbst behauptet: Ray Charles, Kendrick Lamar und Amy Winehouse. Sogar die Libertines hat der junge Songwriter aus London von sich überzeugt, so dass sie ihn als Support für ihre Tour wollten. Der Mix aus seiner rauen Stimme mit Cockney-Akzent, ausgefallenen Gesangsphrasierungen und melancholischen Melodien auf der Akustikgitarre funktioniert.
Kannte bis jetzt keine Lieder des Sängers, war somit nicht voreingenommen.
Meiner Meinung nach ist seine Art von Musik nur in einer bestimmten Gemütslage hörbar; vom Kommerz aber eher doch entfernt.

The concert in the Grelle Forelle was really good, Tom grennan had so much energy to share and it seemed obvious that he enjoys what he is doing! Looking forward what he will do in the future

Alter ! oder OIDa wie man hier in Österreich sagt. Wenn auch mit 30 Minuten Verspätung aber dann volle Kanne und alles Live. Das hat uns gefallen . Die Location war wie gemacht für Tom, der in einem lässigen Style sein Programm machte. Wunderbare Stimme, toller Damenchor und echt gute Stimmung . Ein Fan hatte das Glück und mit ihm einen Song gemeinsam zu singen ,das war echt geil und krass. super gelaufen und alle waren Happy ;-) Tom! See Ya
