Biography - Goran Bregovic

Goran Bregović ist einer der bekanntesten zeitgenössischen Komponisten des Balkans.
Bekannt wurde er vor allem als Filmkomponist für den Regisseur Emir Kusturica. In seinem Wedding and Funeral Orchestra mischt er Blechbläser mit Percussions, bulgarische Polyphonie mit einem Männerchor und eine Streichergruppe mit elektronischer Programmierung. Seit mehr als zwanzig Jahren bereisen Goran Bregović und sein Wedding and Funeral Orchestra alle Kontinente der Welt auf einer Never-Ending Tournee, die bisher über 3000 Auftritte umfasste.
