Burg-Doyen Michael Heltau ist ein deutscher beziehungsweise österreichischer Schauspieler und Chansonnier. 1968 wurde dem Burg-Doyen die österreichische Staatsbürgerschaft verliehen.
Heltau spielte nahezu alle Rollen seines jeweiligen Fachs. Zum Beispiel war er Orlando in Shakespeares "Wie es euch gefällt", verkörperte die Hauptrolle in Schillers "Don Karlos" und spielte bei "Jedermann" der Salzburger Festspiele den guten Gesellen. Am Theater an der Wien war Heltau der Bluntschli in dem Udo Jürgens-Musical "Helden, Helden" (nach George Bernard Shaw", wofür er 1972 die Kainz-Medaille der Stadt Wien erhielt. Außerdem profilierte er sich als deutschsprachiger Interpret von Liedern und Chansons. 2018 feiert Michael Heltau seinen 85. Geburtstag.
