If the Libertines did not succeed in the British Rock scene just before the start of the new millennium it would have taken a totally different turn. Their courageous, sassy and extremely energetic style between indie rock, Britpop, garage rock and post-punk defined a new sound aesthetics.

2010 war ich am Reading Festival in England und The Libertines spielten nach ca. sechs Jahren Pause eines ihrer Reunion Konzerte: Es war unglaublich … eine der besten Bands ever!!! Einzigartiger Sound und definitiv einmalige Persönlichkeiten. The Libertines sollte man zumindest einmal im Leben live gesehen haben. Ich bin so begeistert, dass sie jetzt endlich wieder ein neues Album heraus gebracht haben. Und 2016 kommen sie nach Wien! So looking forward to it :-D
