Great scenes rely on a "Game" - a comic pattern that makes scenes click and audiences light up. In this three-day intensive, UCB veterans Ari Voukydis and Betsy Stover pack game-based longform into one high-energy weekend.
You'll learn to spot the unusual, play smart, heighten, and build scenes from start to finish. A deep dive for improvisers of all levels.
Ari and Betsy bring over 50 years of combined experience and are among the longest-tenured teachers at the legendary Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Both trained with UCB founders Amy Poehler, Matt Besser, Ian Roberts, and Matt Walsh. They have performed in thousands of shows, including ASSSSCAT.
