In this workshop, you’ll learn to take the people, adventures, and obstacles from your own reality and transform them into compelling stand-up and storytelling material. By sharing our lives, we allow audiences to see how alike—and hilariously different—humans really are. Whether you're a storyteller, actor, or comic, Brendan will show you how to find the "funny" in your own history.
Brendan Scannell is an Emmy-nominated actor and comedian known for starring in the Netflix series Bonding and Paramount’s Heathers. He has appeared on After Midnight with Taylor Tomlinson, Apple TV’s Loot, and the film Bromates opposite Snoop Dogg. A "New Face" at Montreal’s JFL Festival, he has headlined the Netflix is a Joke festival and his Comedy Central videos have over 20M views, winning a Webby for Best Comedy.
