Gorillaz ist der Name einer britischen Musikgruppe, bestehend aus den vier Comicfiguren 2D (Leadgesang und Keyboard), Murdoc Niccals (E-Bass), Noodle (Leadgitarre und Hintergrundgesang) und Russel Hobbs (Schlagzeug und Perkussion). Die Band wurde 1998 von Damon Albarn, dem Sänger der britischen Gruppe Blur, und Jamie Hewlett, dem Zeichner und Co-Autor des Comics Tank Girl, erschaffen. Live-Auftritte der Formation sind eher eine Seltenheit. Umso mehr darf man gespannt sein, ob die Gorillaz in Zukunft wieder einmal mit neuem Album auf die Bühne zurückkehren.
Mehr gibt es eigentlich nicht zu sagen - ich hatte viel Spaß. Die Musik war toll, die Location hat gepasst.

Die Musik der Gorillaz ist wohl nur bedingt für Live-Darbietung geeignet.
Gut war die Energie und der Druck des Sounds. Leider war die aber die klangliche Qualität auf sehr mäßigen Niveau. Vieles war übersteuert und die Abmischung und Akustik waren dürftig.
Die Musik der Gorillaz gefällt mir gut, mir hat nur der Song Dare gefehlt.
Die Videowalls fand ich auch gut.
Abschließend kann ich sagen, dass ich neugierig war wie die Musik der Gorillaz live wirkt. Da ich keine vorgefasste Erwart...
