I Prevail ist eine mehrfach ausgezeichnete Post-Hardcore-Band aus Michigan, die seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 2013 für energiegeladenen Sound zwischen Metalcore, Rock und Melodie steht. Bekannt wurde die Band durch ihr virales Cover von"Blank Space" und das Debüt "Heart vs. Mind". Es folgten internationale Tourneen, ein Plattenvertrag bei Fearless Records und das erfolgreiche Studioalbum "Lifelines" (2016).
Mit dem Album "Trauma" (2019) gelang I Prevail der kommerzielle Durchbruch – begleitet von Grammy-Nominierungen für Best Rock Album und Best Metal Performance. Live überzeugt die Band mit intensiven Shows und emotionaler Tiefe – u. a. bei Rock am Ring und Rock im Park.
Im Mai 2025 trennte sich die Band einvernehmlich von Sänger Brian Burkheiser, der aus gesundheitlichen Gründen ausstieg. Die Vocals übernimmt seither Eric Vanlerberghe – I Prevail bleibt damit auch ohne Gründungsmitglied eine feste Größe im modernen Alternative-Rock.
