Biography - Kurt Vile

Kurt Vile gehört mittlerweile zu den ganz Großen einer neuen Generation von US-amerikanischen Singer-Songwritern. Seine Alben werden von Fans sowie anderen Musiker gleichermaßen hoch geschätzt. 2005 gründete Vile zusammen mit Adam Granduciel die Band The War on Drugs, die sich bereits mit ihrem Debüt-Album „Wagonwheel Blues“ als Indie-Insidertipp etablierten. Fast zeitgleich erschien allerdings auch das Solo-Werk „Constant Hitmaker“, und damit schaffte es der Mann aus Pennsylvania auch unter eigenem Namen über die Hürde.
