Integrity, reliability, respect, and trust are top priorities for CTS EVENTIM. CTS EVENTIM does not tolerate violations of applicable laws and internal guidelines.

CTS EVENTIM provides a confidential reporting channel for employees and third parties to report potential violations. This includes fraud, theft, corruption, violations of competition or antitrust laws, money laundering, discrimination, as well as other serious violations of (criminal) laws and guidelines.

Complaints related to human rights and environmental risks, as well as potential violations of due diligence obligations under the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), can also be reported.

CTS EVENTIM takes reports submitted through the CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline very seriously, processes every reported case, and initiates investigations where possible and necessary. Our goal is to effectively protect you as the whistleblower. All reports are handled with strict confidentiality, and you do not need to disclose your identity unless you choose to.

This system must not be misused for intentionally sending false or defamatory notices and information. Reports aimed at denouncing or defaming others will not be tolerated and may be subject to criminal penalties in some countries.

How does the CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline work?

You can use the CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline service through this website to report actual or suspected misconduct.

Using the CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline is confidential, and you do not need to disclose your identity unless you choose to do so. However, providing as comprehensive and precise information as possible facilitates further actions or investigations.

The information you provide will be reviewed and summarized in a report. CTS EVENTIM will then decide on the next steps.

 

What information should I provide?

If you are reporting actual or suspected inappropriate behavior, the information you provide should include the following details:

  • Names of the individuals involved
  • Names of witnesses (if any)
  • Date, time, and location of the incident(s)
  • Details about potential evidence
  • Amounts of money/assets related to the case
  • Frequency of the incident

This service is confidential, and you are not required to disclose your identity unless you wish to do so. However, you should provide as comprehensive and precise information as possible to support further actions or investigations.

What violations can I report?

Corruption:
Offering or providing improper benefits of any kind in business interactions with public officials or private business partners. Requesting or accepting improper benefits by exploiting one's official position.

Conflicts of Interest:
Business decisions made by employees based on personal interests and contrary to the interests of the company.

Cartels and Unfair Competition:
Illegal agreements with competitors regarding prices, pricing policies, market, customer, or territory divisions, orders, production quantities and quotas, strategies, boycotts, etc. This includes collusion in public tenders and unlawful exchanges of information under competition laws.

Fraud and Theft:
Obtaining another's money or property through deception. Unauthorized appropriation of another's property with the intent to use it or pass it on to others.

Violations of Accounting or Record-Keeping Regulations:
Breaches in all aspects of accounting, including bookkeeping, balance sheet preparation, audits, internal accounting controls, or financial statement reviews.

Risk/Violation of Human Rights:
Human rights violations or contributions to them, as well as direct connections of business activities with such impacts through business relationships, even without causing or contributing to these impacts. This includes the prohibition of slavery, forced and child labor, unlawful land acquisition, disregard for union rights, and fundamental labor rights (e.g., withholding wages).

Risk/Violation of Environmental Protection:
Criminal acts in the area of environmental protection, such as illegal or improper handling of hazardous substances, unlawful waste disposal, or unauthorized release of substances that permanently alter the chemical or physical composition of water, soil, or air.

Violations of Labor and Health Protection Regulations, Including Bullying and Harassment:
Breaches of rules ensuring workplace health and safety, including:

  • Endangering the health or workability of employees.
  • Repeated and ongoing violations of occupational safety regulations.
  • Unwanted verbal or physical advances toward an employee by supervisors or colleagues.
  • Discrimination against an employee based on gender, religion, nationality, or beliefs; harassment, bullying, or physical or emotional harm caused by supervisors or colleagues.

Note: Complaints or requests related to personal issues such as bullying, discrimination, and harassment are usually handled in collaboration with the relevant HR department or management. If possible, first address your supervisor, HR department, or management.

Other Serious Violations of (Criminal) Laws and Rules:
This includes:

  • Serious breaches of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Disclosure of business or trade secrets.
  • Document forgery.
  • Tax law violations.
  • Violations of customs and export regulations.
  • Violations of anti-money laundering laws.
  • Significant violations of conduct standards from the company's Code of Conduct or corporate guidelines.

Supply Chain Violations:
Breaches in the supply chain include non-compliance with standards, guidelines, or legal provisions by suppliers or partners at various stages of product delivery or service provision. These include non-compliance with environmental standards, human rights violations, disregard for workplace safety, corrupt practices, and breaches of contractual obligations.

These violations can occur with direct suppliers or suppliers at earlier stages of the production or service chain. It is essential to identify, address, and take measures to prevent them.

Why Should I Report Misconduct?

A positive and open business culture requires adherence to legal and internal company rules. You may have knowledge of harmful behaviors or risks that threaten the company. By reporting these issues, you help identify irregularities early so that CTS EVENTIM can act, preferably before any damage occurs. In doing so, you contribute significantly to the sustainable success of CTS EVENTIM.

Can I Remain Anonymous?

When contacting the CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline, you decide whether you want to remain anonymous or not. You can keep your identity confidential or disclose it to the CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline. We encourage you to disclose your identity, as this often facilitates the investigation and clarification process. However, in some cases, anonymity cannot be guaranteed if your identity is directly or indirectly revealed through the information you provide to the CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline.

The CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline will respect your anonymity if desired and treat all information about your identity as confidential. However, such information may be disclosed if required by law.

 

How Am I Protected as a Whistleblower?

Whistleblowers have the option to submit reports to the CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline completely anonymously, confidentially, or confidentially (non-anonymously). Whistleblowers are not required to disclose their identity unless they choose to. Additionally, whistleblowers are protected under the EU Directive on the Protection of Persons Who Report Breaches of Union Law (EU 2019/1937) and national legislation from potential retaliation or disadvantages related to their reports—even if they disclose their identity to CTS EVENTIM. This protection applies even if a reasonable suspicion is not confirmed.

This rule does not apply if a whistleblower intentionally provides unfounded, offensive, defamatory, or otherwise derogatory information to harm another person without substantial evidence.

 

What Information Should I Provide to the CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline?

When reporting actual or suspected misconduct, the information you provide should include the following details:

Do I Receive a Reward for Reporting Misconduct?

No, there are no rewards for submitting a report through the CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline.

 

Will Reports Be Shared With Law Enforcement Authorities?

Information submitted through the CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline is forwarded to the Compliance Department within CTS EVENTIM, responsible for handling cases. If deemed necessary, relevant law enforcement authorities may also be informed.

 

What Personal Data Does the CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline Collect About Me and Others?

When you contact the CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline, your personal data will only be collected if you provide it. This also applies to relevant information about other individuals connected to your report.

 

How Does the CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline Use or Share Personal Data?

The CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline will use or share personal data only for the purpose of providing this service to you and CTS EVENTIM.
The CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline will forward the collected information to CTS EVENTIM to enable a response to your report.

 

What Happens If I Am Harassed or Retaliated Against for Reporting?

Retaliation against employees is prohibited, even if reports or concerns made in good faith are found to be unfounded during an investigation. Employees who are harassed or face retaliation for submitting a report should immediately report these incidents to the CTS EVENTIM Compliance Helpline. If anyone within CTS EVENTIM attempts to retaliate against or harass an employee for a good-faith report, they may be subject to disciplinary measures, including termination.
